In this candid interview Char explains why artists and entrepreneurs should be checking out Human Centered Design and Engineering as an exciting new career path, and how you can set yourself apart from the competition when looking for a job in this field.

Joining me is Char Easter. As an interactive producer and writer for MSN, she helped create branded entertainment sites for clients such as Visa, Dove, Coca-Cola, LeBron James, Toyota and Nokia. A kiosk from her work with the Experience Music Project won a MUSE Award from the American Association of Museums. From music to media, her goal remains the same, to reach an audience with originality and emotion. Char is currently freelancing for WEATHERHEAD Design on the new permanent exhibit for the Museum of History and Industry and for Daily Interactive as a photo editor for iPad and mobile magazine apps. Char has completed a Masters Degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington.
